Fight for her purity.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! (1 Corinthians 10:12 NIV), It is wisdom to know when you win today tomorrow  still calls you to walk carefully.  Men don't stumble on huge rocks but small stones or probably tiny obstructions that are at first not visible.  When we ignore the little foxes in our fields we risk the danger of feeding them  what's meant to be our harvest at some point. It is again wisdom to watch what we allow to breed in our hearts. Is it possible to pull those thoughts down as soon as they are conceived in our minds? Yes, bringing them to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)...if we fail in the initial stages of their conception , we end up nurturing them in our hearts and before we know it we spew them unconsciously with our mouths; we gave them  a chance to grow! No wonder David said,'' May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my rock (...

Look at this,   Isaiah 43:2 'When you pass through the waters, I (The Lord) will be with you;and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. '  It is given that ...

We need a community....

A community is a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the  larger society within which it exists. For the last few weeks I have been reflecting on some interesting thoughts which I thought would help someone else reflect and learn as well... Spiritual muscles are often developed in the context of a community. People who remain connected with their brothers and sisters in the local church almost invariably grow in self-understanding, and they mature in their ability to relate in healthy ways to God and to their fellow Christians. This is especially the case for those who are courageous and stick it out through the often messy process of interpersonal discord and conflict resolution. People who stay grow, People who leave do not grow and if they grow, not much. We all might know people who are consumed with spiritual wanderlust, but you never get to know th...
