I really don't know what's going on in your life, so I am just going to let you be..

Recently, I have been looking at people reflectively and when I can't really comprehend what's going on in their life, I have found myself easily shrugging my shoulders " I really don't know what's going on in your life, neither do I know what you've been going through lately and so I am not going to play Jesus or the Holy Spirit to try and figure out why you're behaving the way you are..."  So just be....

You see there's a beauty in sometimes letting people go through the motions of life without really meddling, or trying to make it easy for them because truth is all of us have seasons that we must go through to grow, learn and stretch us ...most times these are the moments that bring out the best in us.

Every experience counts, all situations count, making the most of out of them is what makes the difference. We can chose to worry, change nothing and waste time, or keep our peace, go through the motion, learn what's there to learn and move on! Life doesn't pause to wait on you to get done with worrying....save that time.
The many times we allow ourselves to worry, the outcome is almost always mistakes that we end up regretting over...

             In the motions of life,
             Let me be,
             In silence I understand better,
             In quietness I am sober,
             In the motions of life,
             Please let me be

             Deep in my eyes,
             Lies a cloud,
The depths of my heart are still,
              My peace is kept,
              My worries are cast,
              A better day comes,
              I will swim in today

              So let me be

Matthew 6:34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:27

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

...the nakedness of my heart

Worship is close to my heart, it's a lifestyle worthy striving for everyday, it's a language I have come to love, expressing myself through it brings an indescribable experience. Expressing self to a God who is all knowing, who searches the hearts of men, who tests the mind even to give every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings, can only be possible and fulfilling from a place of nakedness and brokenness. By being naked I am telling God, I am hiding nothing from you, my heart lies open before you, the wickedness of my heart is known to you, nothing you do not know about me, not even the slightest offensive thought I had...and I ask that you would search me, cleanse me and bring me back to you. I believe that God values and honors a pure heart; Psalm 51...."for without holiness no one shall see God" ; Hebrews 12:14 Brokenness is a continuous lifestyle of agreeing with God about the state of my heart and life as He alone can ...

About Complaining

The cares of this world can sometimes be overwhelming, it's possible for them to demand so much space in the very hearts that our Lord cautions us to guard with all diligence for out of them flows the issues of life. It's possible for these cares to bring us to moments of vulnerability.  "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.." A heart captured by the cares of life and a mind ruled by their weight is a weary heart" Hard truth; it's hard to lift up pure worship from a crowded heart unless  the Holy Spirit brings you to the place of knowing that God is perfect, He is good and no fault can ever be found in Him regardless of circumstances and the issues of life. Look at this,   Isaiah 43:2 'When you pass through the waters, I (The Lord) will be with you;and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. '  It is given that ...

We need a community....

A community is a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the  larger society within which it exists. For the last few weeks I have been reflecting on some interesting thoughts which I thought would help someone else reflect and learn as well... Spiritual muscles are often developed in the context of a community. People who remain connected with their brothers and sisters in the local church almost invariably grow in self-understanding, and they mature in their ability to relate in healthy ways to God and to their fellow Christians. This is especially the case for those who are courageous and stick it out through the often messy process of interpersonal discord and conflict resolution. People who stay grow, People who leave do not grow and if they grow, not much. We all might know people who are consumed with spiritual wanderlust, but you never get to know th...
