About Complaining

The cares of this world can sometimes be overwhelming, it's possible for them to demand so much space in the very hearts that our Lord cautions us to guard with all diligence for out of them flows the issues of life. It's possible for these cares to bring us to moments of vulnerability.
"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.." A heart captured by the cares of life and a mind ruled by their weight is a weary heart"

Hard truth; it's hard to lift up pure worship from a crowded heart unless  the Holy Spirit brings you to the place of knowing that God is perfect, He is good and no fault can ever be found in Him regardless of circumstances and the issues of life.
Look at this,
Isaiah 43:2 'When you pass through the waters, I (The Lord) will be with you;and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
It is given that these seasons of life will come but the promise of God over them stands that He will be there with us. So then the biggest reflection should be the end result and the attitude we carry through the waters, rivers and the fires. If the Lord is there, set a guard over your mouth not to complain, watch over your heart lest it broods bitterness and an attitude of giving up, guard your mind not to process murmurings.

When we get to the point of wanting to justify the overflow of a crowded heart, remember the response of God to Job...

Job 38:2-3
Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,

“Who is this that darkens counsel [questioning my authority and wisdom]
By words without knowledge?

“Now gird up your loins like a man,
And I will ask you, and you instruct Me!

Its a fearful thing to think we can question the position of God and get away with it.
Learn, carry a thankful heart through the seasons and most important have an avenue to let out your pain in an acceptable way, the grace will always be sufficient because scripture is true.
Trust me these are the moments that make us, they are the moments that make us stronger!

You have no rival,
You have no equal,
Now and forever God you reign,
Yours is the Kingdom,
Yours is the glory,
Yours is the name above all names
(What a wonderful name; Hillsong 2016)

...the nakedness of my heart

Worship is close to my heart, it's a lifestyle worthy striving for everyday, it's a language I have come to love, expressing myself through it brings an indescribable experience. Expressing self to a God who is all knowing, who searches the hearts of men, who tests the mind even to give every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings, can only be possible and fulfilling from a place of nakedness and brokenness. By being naked I am telling God, I am hiding nothing from you, my heart lies open before you, the wickedness of my heart is known to you, nothing you do not know about me, not even the slightest offensive thought I had...and I ask that you would search me, cleanse me and bring me back to you. I believe that God values and honors a pure heart; Psalm 51...."for without holiness no one shall see God" ; Hebrews 12:14 Brokenness is a continuous lifestyle of agreeing with God about the state of my heart and life as He alone can

Fight for her purity.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! (1 Corinthians 10:12 NIV), It is wisdom to know when you win today tomorrow  still calls you to walk carefully.  Men don't stumble on huge rocks but small stones or probably tiny obstructions that are at first not visible.  When we ignore the little foxes in our fields we risk the danger of feeding them  what's meant to be our harvest at some point. It is again wisdom to watch what we allow to breed in our hearts. Is it possible to pull those thoughts down as soon as they are conceived in our minds? Yes, bringing them to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)...if we fail in the initial stages of their conception , we end up nurturing them in our hearts and before we know it we spew them unconsciously with our mouths; we gave them  a chance to grow! No wonder David said,'' May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my rock (Psal
