...the nakedness of my heart

Worship is close to my heart, it's a lifestyle worthy striving for everyday, it's a language I have come to love, expressing myself through it brings an indescribable experience.

Expressing self to a God who is all knowing, who searches the hearts of men, who tests the mind even to give every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings, can only be possible and fulfilling from a place of nakedness and brokenness.
By being naked I am telling God, I am hiding nothing from you, my heart lies open before you, the wickedness of my heart is known to you, nothing you do not know about me, not even the slightest offensive thought I had...and I ask that you would search me, cleanse me and bring me back to you.
I believe that God values and honors a pure heart; Psalm 51...."for without holiness no one shall see God" ; Hebrews 12:14

Brokenness is a continuous lifestyle of agreeing with God about the state of my heart and life as He alone can see it. Somebody said that we can never experience God in revival until we first experience Him in brokenness.
These three things God desires of us every time we come to Him in worship..
  • Intimacy- Loving Him and loving Him and Loving Him.....
  • Total dependency- if He is not Lord of all then He is not Lord at all, He must be the only hope and help you look up to any time and all the time.
  • Revelation- we should look forward to walking out from His presence with a revelation 'Rev John Wesley Musyoka'

Fight for her purity.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! (1 Corinthians 10:12 NIV), It is wisdom to know when you win today tomorrow  still calls you to walk carefully.  Men don't stumble on huge rocks but small stones or probably tiny obstructions that are at first not visible.  When we ignore the little foxes in our fields we risk the danger of feeding them  what's meant to be our harvest at some point. It is again wisdom to watch what we allow to breed in our hearts. Is it possible to pull those thoughts down as soon as they are conceived in our minds? Yes, bringing them to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)...if we fail in the initial stages of their conception , we end up nurturing them in our hearts and before we know it we spew them unconsciously with our mouths; we gave them  a chance to grow!
